Keypad Instructions & Faults
DAS/Hills Alarm Panel
To arm System
Ensure READY light is on (All areas are sealed)
Enter USER CODE (e.g 1 2 3 4)
Check ARMED & ON light comes ON
To Disarm System

Enter USER CODE (eg. 1 2 3 4)
Check ARMED & ON light comes OFF
Memory Recall
Enter * then 3
To display sectors that casued last alarm condition
Enter # to exit this feature
Isolate Sectors (Permission Required)
Enter BYPASS then USER CODE – Bypass light will flash
Enter sector (two digit) e.g 03 to isolate sector 3
Enter BYPASS again, followed by next sector to isolate or
If no other sector to isolate then press #
Service Menu
Press * then 2 – One or more zones will light
Zone light illuminated indicates FAULT
If FAULT displays, refer to chart below then enter # to exit feature
Fault Chart Analysis
Zone light 9 – System Fault
Zone light 10 – Zone/Tamper
Zone light 11 – Zone/Low Battery
Zone light 12 – Zone/Loss of Supervision
Zone light 13 – Zone/Trouble
Zone light 14 – Phone Line Trouble
Zone light 15 – Fail to Communicate
Zone light 16 – Loss of System Time
Panel Sounders
BEEPING SOUND – If plug pack in unplugged or the mains POWER is disconnected the keypad will SOUND (Beep)
To silence the keypad, input USER CODE a second time and then enter * then 2 to display fault. See list and instructions above, then enter # to exit this feature
Door Chime
If you have a zone allocated to DOOR CHIME (would have been arranged when alarm was installed, however can be added by your technician), you are able to initiate this function to let you know when a door has been opened.
Simply press the CHIME and ON, your keypad and this will activate it. To remove, press CHIME and OFF.
Other System Tests
TEST REPORT – Press * then 4 on keypad. This will perform a Battery, Communicator and Siren test. Enter USER CODE to silence siren test.
SMOKE RESET – Press * then 7 on keypad. Enter USER CODE to silence beeping keypad.
